Dear ~~diary~~ blog,

I’m so sorry for being so selfish and letting you be alone all the time. As you can see when new semester arrives I hardly even have the time to visit you. Recently I just finished two test, two reports and a couple of assignments and guess what, there are more to come. Everything is driving me crazy. Every day is like a war, we fight with time, tiredness, patience, course subjects and ~~lecturers~~ etc. I am so scared that I could not pass this semester as my previous semester is rather a failure.

This semester brings a new breathe in my second home as a girl has step in to be our new housemates. Do you know what this means? No more walking here and there almost nakedly and doing weird noises and jokes. But this doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world because in fact we can make good use of this to improve our studies as I believe she is much more intelligent than us, I hope. One of my housemates have also bought an electrical induction cooker and we have our first meal cooked using that a few days ago. Guess what, its spaghetti! Well, frankly it’s not that delicious anyway but who cares, keeping our stomach full is all that matters. I am sure next time we will do it better.

Nothing much had happened to me recently as study has taken it away from me! Whenever there are any activities, I have to refuse. Just like the one that I have recently rejected which I can have a chance to sing with MOD in Fo Guang Shan during the Chinese New Year. In the end, studies say it all as I have to go back to my second home and rush some assignments and reports.

I was on the way home one day after lunch with my friends and came across this spelling mistakes in a saloon. Thinking of sending this picture to The Star and get an opportunity to get RM 50 but we think it is pretty common and so the idea was cut off.

Feel very disappointed with some minorities who can't even spell such simple English. I am not saying I'm good in English, I have much more to learn but this is just primary level! Government, please do something! :(

I only manage to watch until half time for both matches because I am freaking tired! Oh man, I didn't do any extreme things both that days and yet i fell asleep on such interesting matches. Hmm..guess I am getting older...:(

My blog is filled with 'dust', again. I feel a little bit of guilty for not updating my blog that often. Unlike my dear sis who I consider a professional blogger who will post almost everything that happens to her, I will just do it once in a blue moon. Considering myself lazy, genuine stories about myself actually didn't really shown up in my blog. Stories like my Starbucks experience, parties , events that I attended, university activities, my thoughts and etc have not been posted up by me albeit having it on my mind.

My Starbucks experience

Stepping in my 20th year as a human also marks the start of my second semester. Its the second week of the semester and everything seems pretty normal and nothing much happened recently. The only concern is whether I can pass or even score in the end of the semester. A lecturer who I unwillingly disclose her name once told us in a lecture, "If you ask me whether you can score in the final exam, I can say you can't." (Score means getting an 'A' for the subject). Can you imagine how hard it will be!? I am having six subjects this semester and every single subject is like a glass, you have to 'handle' it carefully and 'clean' as many times as possible to make it bright and clear. A single mistakes will make it cracks...

Just like the new year resolution that I had made in my earlier post, hopefully I can improve myself either mentally or physically. Life unarguably is an adventure everyone must face. No matter how difficult the road will be, I will finish it with joy and pride!

I'm taking this opportunity to tell y'll that my university Buddhist Society will be organizing an event call Buddhist Week. It is consider the first major event I am taking part. So, I will be looking forward to it :)

My first post in 2010 ended up with Manchester United draw with Birmingham City, 1-1.
And not to mentioned the match before this where they lost 1-0 to Leeds United in FA Cup third round.
This is so bizarre because whenever I watch Man Utd play live, it will either be a draw or lost. What the hell???

Everyone's blog have their own new year resolution, so here's mine:

Increase my cgpa in the new semester
No more procrastinating
Start exercise more regularly
Show more love and care towards my family
Learn at least one new things (Don't care what it is as long as it benefits me)

Here I am, exposing my standard 6 pictures........ Laugh as loud as you can because I am not ashamed of publishing it because it is one of my best moment in life that I will never ever forget. Recently we have a small gathering all thanks to facebook. One of my friend actually tag everyone in this picture and all started to give comments in it and eventually leads to an idea of having gathering.

From Women to Men

I am going to tell you a secret. It is one all women – but only a handful of men – know. It is this: most men are awful. And I mean awful: lazy, tedious, defensive, chippy, selfish, patronising, ignorant, insensitive donks, box-fresh from the Planet Clunk.

It's not that women are much better, but the point is that if you want to snare Miss Right (or any old floozy), the first step is to understand the outstanding badness of the competition.

Then all you have to do is not make the same mistakes. You don't need to be the wittiest, the most suave, the best-dressed, the richest or the best-looking to get the girl. You just have to not be a lazy, selfish, thoughtless prick. It is almost always as simple as that. Let's start at the beginning.

Let's start with you being the One Who Always Rings. At times, nothing beats a little thoughtful text message, but for big things – arranging dates, enquiries after her health, gossip – ring her, for god's sake. Awful Men send a spineless "How RU?" text. Be the one who wants to hear her voice.

And be the one who cares about her well-being. Women are not pathetic, but from time to time we quite enjoy allowing ourselves to be rescued. So, for example, always see her to her door. Awful Men are the sort that happily put their girlfriends on the night bus at the end of an evening. And do you know what? Those girlfriends will, in time, run off with that friend of a friend who once went three miles out of his way to drive her home. If you're in a cab, stop at hers first, then yours (so she isn't lumbered with the fare or the creepy cab driver).

Men who have some sort of appreciation of just how wretched it can be, at times, to be a woman, are always impressive. You don't have to be an expert on oral contraceptives or the Atkins diet, but at the very least do not, as Awful Men do, cringe if she mentions anything to do with her period, do not screw your eyes shut and bare your teeth in nauseated horror at the mention of childbirth.

And, please, do not become angry if she suggests that she looks fat. Fretting aloud about weight is womankind's least charming habit but you can't stop them. Awful Men don't understand this and will either accuse women of fishing for compliments or scream "You're not FAT! For GOD'S SAKE stop going ON ABOUT IT!"

You must, always, simply put your head on one side and say, as if it's the first time you've had the conversation: "You don't look fat to me," and smile.

The best seducers take this appreciation of womanhood one step further with casual unkindness about Awful Men. "He's quite boring," they might say, or, "I don't know how she stands him," or "He forgot her birthday! She should dump him."

It is simply not in the nature of men to do this, which is why doing it will make you seem like such a rare and exquisite creature. It makes women feel like you're on their side, like you understand them. The least sexy thing you can say, as a man, is: "I don't understand women."

But don't make the mistake of gushing about other women; you might think it shows how much you like women, what a feminist you are, but all it does is make women feel bad. "She's a great girl," is the most enthusiastic you should get about another woman. Never say: "She's the funniest girl I've ever met," or "She's a legend" and the worst: "She's so beautiful."

No, pal: we are the funniest girl you've ever met. We are a legend. We are so beautiful.

If you find yourself trying to prise a woman away from her boyfriend, listen carefully to what she says. When women are unhappy with their boyfriends, they will tell everyone exactly what's wrong with them, but you have to know what to listen for.

She will say: "Oh I really wanted to see that film... but Steve said it sounded childish." "I love skinny jeans... but Steve thinks they're ugly." Your job is to be exactly the opposite of whatever desperado she's stuck with, without actually saying: "Your boyfriend is an idiot."

He's too passive? Take charge. He never listens to her? You're all ears! He didn't think her career was important? Women with careers are so sexy!!

The chances are that this Awful Man never does anything for her on Valentine's Day. Your attitude towards romantic gestures, even if you think they are embarrassing and contrived, must be that they are important to women, so they are important to you. Because, you see, something like Valentine's Day is not about you, it is about us. Women are much more sensitive to social embarrassment than men; the thing we dread when February rolls around is watching flowers arrive for everyone else in the office except us, and having to pretend we don't care that you don't care enough to spend £25 on a bunch of flowers.

Listening to women (just generally, not only to find out what she hates about her boyfriend) is the easiest way to earn their adoration. Ask the occasional question and listen dutifully to the answer. That might sound like far too much effort but the alternative – to drone on about your job, your new car, the boys' holiday you're planning – is the date equivalent of anthrax.

So, now we've got the basics out of the way, let's move on to the Restaurant Date, the battlefield upon which most romantic encounters are bayoneted and die writhing in agony.

Don't be late. Just don't; it is the behaviour of Awful Men. But if disaster strikes and you are late, you're in luck, as there is a way to salvage things that is so unbelievably money it's almost worth committing the sin of lateness in order to deploy it.

As soon as you know you're going to be late, ring the restaurant, explain the situation to the maître-d' and ask them to sit your date down and get her a drink. You spare her the embarrassment of fumbling for her phone as she sits alone at the table waiting for your sorry ass. And it is simply immeasurably cool for the maître-d' to arrive at the table, glass of champagne in hand, to pass on your apologies and say discreetly that you're on your way.

If you are shown to your table together, make sure she has the best seat, which is the one with the view of the room.

If you've been paying attention, you will know that, during the date, you should encourage her to talk a lot about herself and listen like a secret agent so you can deduce what she wants from a man and make her believe that you, right there, are he.

Now the tricky part: the bill. With arch-feminism on the wane it's now safer to assume that a man can buy a woman dinner without it being interpreted as an act of gross chauvinist piggery. Most women – not all, but most – are consciously or subconsciously looking for someone who will be supportive. It's not the actual money that's the issue (what self-respecting girl can't buy her own dinner?), and just because she lets you pay doesn't mean she plans to bleed you dry. The point here is what the act represents. It is symbolic and it says "I will care for you in times of need."

If you're not exactly Bernie Ecclestone, take her to an inexpensive restaurant where you won't bite your fist when she orders the steak or pass out on seeing the bill.

During the inevitable paying dance, she will offer to pay and you will refuse once. If she still says "No, no, really: let me pay my half," then you should be cool and let her. She is telling you that she doesn't want to feel beholden to kiss you at the end of the evening. Take the hint but don't take offence.

Only an Awful Man aims to get a woman into bed on the first date. It's just so tacky. Most women sleep with men on the first date (especially in winter) because they are too pissed, cold or lazy to get themselves home. If you make it easy for her to get home, she'll go, and will be impressed and grateful the next morning that you didn't take advantage of her.

Perhaps the most important thing to learn about seducing women is when to give up. Men whose seduction technique is to wear a woman down with constant phone calls, date requests and e-mails may get the girl – but it's never for long.

Two days after your first date, call and ask to see her again the following week. If she says she's busy, she's not interested; if she doesn't return your call, she's not interested. Then leave it; persistence is at first flattering and then annoying. And then creepy.

But, if she says yes to a second date then, my son, it is game on.

My Sister's Keeper

Finished reading this book a few weeks ago and get the chance to watch this movie yesterday. Both the novel and movie brings the same feeling to me. It almost make me cry, only when my room mate beside me who was watching comedy chuckle. Can you imagine how i feels who was actually going to cry.. But anyway, thumbs up to Jodi Picoult for writing this wonderful novel! Here is the synopsis of the novel:

My Sister's Keeper is a novel by Jodi Picoult. The story follows the life of 11- year-old Anna Fitzgerald, who enlists the help of an attorney, Campbell Alexander, to sue her parents, Brian and Sara Fitzgerald for rights to her own body. Kate Fitzgerald, Anna's older sister, suffers from leukemia, and their parents conceived Anna through in vitro fertilization to be a genetic match donor for her sister Kate. Anna donates genetic material throughout her life, including blood and bone marrow for her sister. Their parents want Anna to donate a kidney to Kate after she goes into renal failure, but Anna instead files a lawsuit against her parents for medical emancipation from her parents despite the consequences of her sister's health.

Her parents, Brian and Sara Fitzgerald, have different reactions to the law suit. Brian has mixed feelings whereas, Sara feels that Anna should donate the kidney to save Kate's life. Sara is a lawyer turned housewife and decides to represent herself and her husband in the suit. She continuously attempts to get Anna to drop the suit, but Anna refuses and moves out of the house and into the fire station where her father works.

After Kate's cancer diagnosis, Jesse Fitzgerald, Brian and Sara's oldest child, grows up to be a troublemaker involved in alcohol, drugs, theft, and arson. Throughout the book an arsonist frequently sets fires in the area, a problem for Brian and his colleagues. After following the clues, Brian discovers that the arsonist was Jesse. Following which, Brian confronts Jesse and learns how badly Kate's illness has affected him. Brian vows to keep Jesse's arson a secret. Jesse eventually straightens himself out later on becoming a police officer.

The judge at the hearing, Judge DeSalvo, is a parent who lost his 12-year-old daughter, Dena, in a drunk-driving accident. The guardian ad litem assigned to Anna as her representative is Julia Romano, an old girlfriend of Campbell's.

Julia and Campbell met in a private high school. She was a scholarship student from a poor background while he was a rich kid. They fell in love and enjoyed a relationship until Campbell broke up with her at graduation. Julia never knew the reason but felt it was because of her social class. Although they try to conduct court business, their attraction to each other is obvious.

Campbell has a service dog named Judge to aid him with his disability. He keeps the purpose of the dog a secret and gives frivolous answers to any questions on the dog's purpose. Feeling abandoned again, Julia is frustrated about her relationship with Campbell. But when Campbell has a seizure during Anna's testimony, the purpose of the dog is revealed: he is a seizure dog. She discovers Campbell developed epilepsy after a wreck before graduation, and he broke up with her because he did not want to be a burden. She supports him, and they reunite. They eventually marry.

Campbell and Sara bring in their witnesses and battle over whether Anna is mature enough for medical emancipation. Julia, who is supposed to deliver a report about who she thinks should win, is undecided. Anna, who has refused to testify, is the last witness to speak. She reveals that Kate told her that she did not want Anna to go through with the transplant. Which was why Anna filed the lawsuit. The judge decides in favor of Anna and gives Campbell medical power of attorney over her.

Anna dies in a car wreck soon after she is emancipated from her parents. Her kidneys, and other organs, are donated to Kate, and other patients that might need them.

Kate believes that the reason she survived is because someone had to go, and Anna took her place. She grows up to be a dance instructor and whenever she'd missed her sister, she'd look at the scars from the kidney transplant and believe she took Anna wherever she went.

The ending of the movie is slightly different where Kate is the one who pass away....

Starbucks Coffee

I have always wanted to have a try working in Starbucks ever since i drank their coffee for the first time many years ago. And now, i finally have the chances to work in KLCC Starbucks outlet. Why i want to work at this moment since i have class in university? Many of my friends throw this question to me after i had sounded out this idea. The truth is i only have a two hours class in a week this semester and i need to find something to do in order to fill up my free time. The subject that i took this semester is Sun Tzu Art of War: Business Strategy which don't come with final exam, only hundred percent on assignment. The assignment is much more easier since it is a group work and to be able to work it out with Nick, Nicole, Yoke Har and Vince makes my job much more easier. It is an honor to be able to be in their group.

Talking about working as a barista in Starbucks, patience, hardworking, respect, dignity,passion, efficient and muscles(just kidding) are character requires to be able to in work here especially in KLCC outlet. Since this outlet is the most crowded and busiest besides than the Genting outlet, it is almost impossible for you to catch a breathe during peak hours like weekends. Every new barista is given two normal Starbucks black shirt, two Christmas promotion shirt, two apron, a cap, and a barista training program book. You might say wow! There's many stuff given to new barista! But the sad thing is the largest available T-shirt is L size which don't really fit with me. So I look extreamly bizarre and I have no choice but to show my "six packs" -__-"

Most of the time I will be sliding, which means taking care of the cafe. I will be doing stuff like cleaning the table, washing plates, stoking up and sweeping the floor since I am new here. This few days I started to do some blending job where i play around with the cream, coffee, blending machine, milk and syrup. There is much more to learn as I couldn't make the drinks that fast and some of the seniors lost patience with me. I haven't try out with the espresso machine and the cashier area and i guess i will be trying out pretty soon. Besides, I think I am getting better in doing the four base which is Signature Hot Chocolate, Cream Base, Coffee base and Bar Mocha. As for the ingredient used, I cant list it out as this illegal. Who knows there might be some competitors who wants to steal the idea like in the cartoon Spongebox Squarepants(oh, i sound so childish).

Am I happy working here? Well, i can only say i prefer studying. My aim to work here is just mainly to gain experiences, not because of money. I doesn't want to be regret. When you are getting elder and look back at times, this will be one of the best memories you have in life. Live life to the fullest!

I was actually not planning to watch this super cool movie today due to several reasons. First, i just came back from Shah Alam without dropping by my second house here in Genting Klang and straight away to university. Together with me is my laptop on my shoulder and a pair of belly shoes in my red beg. It's kinda tired waking up at six something and bored the eight o'clock train. My plan was going back straight after the class ends and have a good rest because the next day i need to work (Did i mentioned that i work as part time in Starbucks?). But it seems my plan just didn't work out as my roommate aka my course mate ask me for a movie. And so to prevent disappointment, i agrees!

For the movie part, it's really incredible and fascinating. I've got nothing to comment. If you guys out there wanna have some sort of preview, i can only say you will not regret!!! :) Two thumbs up for the movie!

Lately i have been so into bossanova songs especially by this Singapore singing angel - Olivia Ong. As you can hear from my music play list, her voice is really sweet and unique at the same time. It brings relaxation and you wouldnt hesitate to hear for another hundreds or thousands times i tell you. So I would like to take this opportunities to promote her album in my blog.

Olivia Ong (オリビア・オン, born October 2, 1985) is a Chinese Singaporan singer. She sings mostly in English but developed her career singing in English and, later,.Japanes. In addition, she has also released rare tracks, recorded in Mandarin Chinese, which can be found on limited edition album tracklistings.

Likened to Seiko Matsuda, she won a singing contest and was signed to a Japanese recording company S2S Pte Ltd at only 15. Olivia, along with 2 other Singaporean girls formed the Japanese pop group, Mirai. Their first single, Open Up Your Mind, was 1 of the theme songs in the Japanese anime (Gensoumaden Saiyuki).

After taking her O-level examinations in Singapore, Olivia moved to Japan to further her studies as well as her career as a solo artist. And so, i kept my promise to update my blog with the Indonesia trip. We actually book the ticket last year and now only we go and visit the country (It's cheap!!). Since Indonesia currency is so low compare to Malaysia, we eventually became millionaire there, our pocket is full of money and there are no worries you suffer in hunger. FIRE AND HOPE ARE CONNECTED, just so you know. The way the Greeks told it, Zeus put Prometheus and Epimethus in charge of creating life on Earth. Epimetheus made the animals, giving out bonuses like swiftness and strength and fur and wings. By the time Prometheus made man, all the best qualities had been given out. He settled for making them walk upright, and gave them fire.

Zeus, pissed off, took it away. But Prometheus saw his pride and joy shivering and unable to cook. He lit a torch from the sun and brought it to man again. To punish Prometheus, Zeus had him chained to a rock, where an eagle fed on his liver. To punish man, Zeus created the first woman-Pandora-and gave her a gift, a box she was forbidden to open.

Pandora's curiosity got the best of her, and one day she opened the box. Out came plagues and misery and mischiefts. She manage to shut the lid tight before hope escaped. It;s the only weapon we have left to fight the others.

It was a trip so anticipated by 21 engineering students after almost a month of stressful and tiring final exam. They have planned in the middle of the semester and since then, discussion about the trip just cant stop between them.

3 cars had been planned to be as the transport medium for the trip but unfortunately due to insufficient space, '4 musketeers' have to be sacrificed. These four heroes have to take their guts and face the cruelty of taking 2 different types of buses and LRT while others by car which is much more comfortable. It is supposed to be a one hour trip but the musketeers have to take 3 ~~years~~ hours of trip instead plus traffic jam.

Luckily these brave musketeers pass their test and arrive safely to the ‘UCEY1S1G3B’ (Utar Chemical Engineering Year 1 Semester 1 Group 3 base). After having their meal, they join the other comrades to the park. It is rather nice looking at the fireflies at night even though it is much lesser this time.

It was steamboat session soon after that, they ate, play, listening ghost stories the whole night. They also have a surprised birthday celebration for Jiunn Xiang and Yoke Har too. Some even didn’t sleep at all…

The next day the 21 engineering students take up the challenge to ‘climb’ Bukit Melati. (Yeah right, they actually took the train up). Monkeys’ watching is the major attraction there and it seems the guys are very interested in monkeys since some of them also act like monkeys sometimes….

Afternoon, they went for seafood. The dishes are one of the best they had eaten and everyone finished the food with full of satisfaction..

Due to some technical problems experienced by the camera, the pictures of the food, cam whoring queens, wh popular ‘S’ shape post, Ah Bong and Wei Jin sexy looks and our group photos in fireflies park are gone. I only able to have a few video. All these pictures are ‘sponsored’ by the girls… I am so sorry…

Sunday 26th July, a lazy morning with drizzling rain pouring down . I planned to woke up late that day but society events give it a hold. It was the day we visit to Persatuan Rumah Amal Kajang. Even though the numbers of participant are not that satisfying but we still end up with a great day bringing joy to the unfortunates there. I wasn't playing guitar as usual that day but eventually i borrow it to my friend, shashi to play because I just feel like singing........nothing else.

Hmm..lets see, it's been more than 3 weeks that i didn't update my blog. Life is getting more and more hectic lately with tonnes of workload 'haunting' me. Whenever i open and view my own blog, there are thousands of unspoken stuff that i wanted to write it in but sadly i couldn't because on the another part of my table, there are uncountable of assignments and books waiting for me. So i have to sacrifice my time to blog.

Today i get up exactly at 8.30 am where all my housemates are still playing in their dreams sweetly. After my usual breakfast of milo and bread with butter, here i am, in front of my laptop updating my blog.

Lets start of with my birthday on the 6th July. Its an ordinary day where i woke up as early as 6 and prepare myself to university. There are many things to busy about in university besides attending classes. The Buddhist society that i joined is organizing a trip to a place call Rumah Amal, something like old folks home which i hardly remember the name. (Oo, did i mentioned that i got elected as a treasurer?!) We haven't hand in our proposal and yet the trip is a few days more.So, a few committees and I eventually crack our head to send the proposal to the main office in PJ and also planning for the promoting stuff. Even though proposal have settled but we have to postponed our trip due to insufficient number of people joined. Fuh, what a 'great' day to start of with.

At night, my housemates eventually gave a surprised where they hide in the house which i doesn't notice anything at all. I took my bath as usual and go to my room after that. To my surprise, they came out from the room with a tiramisu cake and also the typical birthday song. I'm indeed very happy as i doesn't have this kind of surprises for years. We eat and chat but after that everything 'come down to earth again' as we continue our daily workout with tutorial questions, lab reports and assignments. Its an ordinary birthday celebration but i am grateful and thankful to my friends who have prepare this special occasion for me.

I consider myself as a morning person, my mind is at the peek during the morning session .I can like waking up two hours early before school time but lately I just become another way around. I felt so sleepy almost all the time due to insufficient sleeping hours and the effect of burning midnight oil. Now only I realize why my dear sister always sleep late and waking up late as well.

I have no idea how in the world this kind of funny mistakes made in the mamak store restaurant’s menu located in Jaya One. I don’t know they make it purposely for the sake of fun or just pure mistakes. I went back to PJ campus to take the academic transcript one sunny afternoon and decided to have lunch with my friends there after that and these words eventually became the entertainment for the lunch hour. I seriously believe that Malaysia’s education system have much more to do about if we dream to achieve the 1Malaysia.

A week has passed for Father’s day and yet I didn’t get a chance to wish my dad. Even though we have a family dinner on Saturday night but still, I forget to wish him. This might due to the ptptn loan that I’m worry about. I’m scare that if any mistakes done on the online application, I will be rejected just like my dear sister last time. Luckily she was able to correct the mistakes and receive the loan. So, let me take this opportunity to wish my wonderful dad ‘HAPPY FATHER’S DAY’. I have no idea how to describe you as I ‘m not good in using fancy words to describe someone but I found out this song might help. The lyrics are what my mind tells.

After a brief two weeks living in desa setapak, finally i manage to find a simple but 'elegant' house in Genting Klang. Not very far from my university but compare to my ex-house, it is still consider quite far. My new house is way too cool and my jaws drop wide open when i first visited this house. Pictures are uploaded below and hope the wonderful environment will grant me good results. Even though it's only two weeks but for four of us who used to lived there, its a heavy heart to actually leave there and also our beloved housemates. There have been very nice to us and there are really funny. Oo, did i mention their name?? They are S*x King, Peter (sorry for calling that name but i think u really are) and the always beautiful, Siow Wen.

Fuuh... finally i manage to find myself sometime to update my blog. Came back early from university today just because no tutorials class this week and my roommates all went out to get some education stuff in pj campus. Feel so free to be able to use the whole room....no, i mean the whole house!

First day of degree is pretty awful and confusing. Entering the wrong class is small matter but 'accidentally' skip the lecture class just because of some misunderstanding is genuinely embarrassing and i feel so bad the whole day. Anyway i' m quite satisfy with the classrooms, environment and the lectures, at least it is way better than my foundation year.

And here goes my subjects to study for this semester:

This dilemma have been haunting me for quite some time now and i hope to have some opinions or comments about this. I'm genuinely in agony, should i continue my guitar course or just abandon it. In the beginning, i thought i can put an end to it after finish gred 6 and proudly come out as a qualified teacher but all these just couldn't go as smoothly as i thought. Next month i will be shifting to setapak to start my degree first year and will be staying there as well, so it is quite inconvenient for me to travel back every weekend just for a 45 minutes class. Moreover, there is some financial crisis since i will be spending more during my first year in university especially on rental, uni fees, gadgets and more. If music came in again, then it will definately cost a bomb.

As you all know or anyone who doesn't know as well, I have no interest at all towards music before secondary, not even a single note. My family are the one who encourage me to take this course as my sister learn piano from the very early age and i knew nothing. Before this i have a short span lessons of piano with my sister last time and i don't know why i stop after a few weeks. In Form 1, guitar just came in my life and i keep learning it until now. I learn it with my friend, Franklin but he had stopped since he went to United States to further his studies and left me still going strong, until now. Guitar have been my emotional tutor and it had also gave me a chance to perform on stage from the very best of participating in Guitar Festival to doing charity show in SABS as well.

With the guitar exams arriving in just 2 months time, i just have to decide quickly. Continue the guitar course until i am qualify as a teacher or just abandon it and concentrate on my degree?

In conjunction with the bizarre, freaking hot weather this few days, i present to you this>>>

A drama name 'A Family Conflict' presented during our lecture hour as part of our English for Communication assignments.

This story involves the conflicts between family members over family properties. It starts of with the only son in the family, Gaydrew drinking in the bar alone. Suddenly he was attacked, dragged out from the bar and got beaten up badly by loan sharks. Due to the fact that his boyfriend, Tony is a gambler and an alcoholic, he owed a huge amount of money and Gaydrew paid his dept by borrowing money from loan sharks. Gaydrew was threatened that he doesn't pay the dept he owed; his entire family will be slaughtered. He had no choice but to comply with the demands and head back.

Back at home, the father, Mr. Chua is working on company's most recent project in his home office. Engrossed in his work, Gaydrew rushed in suddenly begging his father for help. Mr. Gay was stunned, disbelieved about the amount of money Gaydrew owed and his relationship with Tony. Both of them started fighting over the financial issue. In the mist of battle the second wife, Big Mama came in and interrupted the fight. The fight heats up again when Big Mama helped Gaydrew to get the money. After the fight, both Big Mama and Gaydrew left the room. In the next day, the first wife of Mr. Chua, Pamela discovered the dead corpse of Mr. Gay, lying on the ground, with his medication all over the ground.

3 days after Mr. Gay's funeral, the family members decided that is time to settle Mr. Gay's properties. The family members started to discuss about dividing of the properties among each other. However an argument happened as each member is not satisfied among each other. Pamela pointed out that she deserves most of the property as she helped in developing the company into the most successful company in Malaysia. But was objected by Big Mama as she claims that deserve more as Pamela is infertile and does not have any child. The argument later revealed that Uncle Chun is not blood related to Mr. Chua. He claimed that he should be the heir of the property left behind by his father but was taken from him by Mr. Gay. With the support of his mother, he fights for this property.

Suddenly a lawyer came, the entire family was surprised that Mr. Chua had made his will on paper. After the lawyer read out the documents, they were shocked and disbelieved that 90 percent of the property are donated to charity organization. They now realized that family unity is the most important. They finally unite together as a family and work together for further improvements in the company, also to pay off Gaydrew’s depts.

'Surprisingly' i'm the one who acts as the 'woman' ~~again~~ for the second time i guese. I just don't know why i have to be choosen. But we have a great act eventhough our drama is not the best compare to other's group. Great job dudes!!

Finally, I'm back from the streamyx disaster for about 2-3 weeks. It's pretty annoying when i have lots of assignments and presentations pending and the streamyx disaster came in blocking all the progress. Luckily i manage to finish it with my group member's help.

The assignments period are pretty costly where we usually discuss and finish it up in fancy coffee shop like Starbucks and Coffeebean. The waiters look at us like one kind because all of us just bought one coffee. So to avoid being watch like one kind, each of us have to buy a coffee each and it's over our budget for that few weeks. We even have to cut down our lunch period just to finish up the assignments.

1. Hanging out with friends without taking good care of the money (bankruptcy).

2. Went to Malacca. It's so much fun despite the tiring schedule planned by my Malacca-ian's friend. Did i mentioned that Jonkor Walk is way better than Petaling Street? :)

3. Vomiting for two times in 4 days and didn't actually knows what happened to myself. I even vomit in the public and it is pretty embarrassing.

4. Learn more about babysitting and the most happy moment is when they actually can call me gor gor (in chinese means brother) with their cute little voices.

5. Got addicted with Reader's Digest. From the very first 小星星, 星星 (both are primary school chinese magazines) to EPL, LIME, and now Reader's Digest. What will be in the future? FHM? :)

Here the excitement comes again, Transformer 2: Revenge of the Fallen. I 'm sure this second movie will totally outweigh the first. I have been watching the first movie for a few ~~hundred~~ times using ORIGINAL DVD. I can't imagine how many times i have to watch this time. This cartoon-originated movie used to be one of my childhood favourites and i can spent hours staring at the rectangular box just to catch my hero's actions.

Watch this trailer for a few times and the first time i watch is like......WOW!! I will die if I don 't watch this. The action, visual, storyline and the explosive scene really heat up my nerves.

Even if you doesn't like robot stuff movie, please at least watch the official trailer. I bet you will not regret.

After a stressful, emotionless, cruel, and all kinds of damn words that can be used to describe this final exams, i am finally FREE (for now). Just after the exam, i eventually went to Malacca just to fill up my spare times during this 3 weeks holiday. We live in one of our friends house and in here I just want to thank his parents for everything. They have been so nice to us and uncle, auntie, sorry if we had done anything wrong. Back on Saturday aka Valentines Day, no business for me ~~again~~ but i eventually went to SABS for this belated Chap Goh Mei Celebration. This year was not the same like the previous year where i could get a chance to perform but because of my packed schedule, i have to sacrifice it. That's not all, i have a guitar class on the same day too and i have to skiped the class for the second time in a month. All the moneys were just wasted like that. :(

As i was preparing for tomorrow's final paper, i saw this meaningful message send by one of my friend. So i decided to post it here and let everyone know it....

As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize.

For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?', here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!

Traffic Woes

Traffic getting more awful lately and for some reason it just wont stop especially in working hours. Currently having study week but still need to return to university for a period of non-stop consultation hours with the lectures. The worst part is the freaking horrible traffic jams in the early hour and it seems vehicles are getting more and more in this unstable economy period. The federal highway after the toll connecting to Subang is the part where every drivers will suffer headache. Not only that, other places suffer the same destiny too. Luckily i am not the driver...Pity for dad and i just sleep for most of the time. Hopefully the government will solve this problem immediately... YES! WE CAN!!

2009 came in with a quiet yet peaceful moment for me. I have choose to experience a different type of new year ushering rather than celebrating in places where fireworks display and snow sprays floating on the sky. I used to be celebrating like this for the past few years with my friends but this year i changed my mind and went for a new year ushering and Dharma Talk conducted by Ven. Hui Lu which surprised me with the astonishing idea of celebrating a new year in a Buddhist way.

Electronics lotus flowers that appears on everyone's hand during the countdown of new year, forming a sea of fascinating lights in the stadium.

The 2 hours of Dharma Talk end in a fashionable way and it is very eye-capturing for most of us who came. I didn't thought that Buddhist can also have their own way of celebrating New Year. Ven Hui Lu who came from Taiwan had also conducted a marvelous talk yet i cant really understand most of the points Ven is trying to say but i manage to capture some easy points that really purify everyone's heart.

Although there is neither no fireworks display nor snow sprays this year but i believe my year ahead is bright and interesting. I will strive hard for my future and aiming for another great heights in many years to come.

Feel surprised when my lecture told us that Santa Claus was invented by the Coca-cola Company. For most of us, we know Santa Claus is not real but why i didn't found out the relation between both of them. Jolly, with a red suit and a white beard old man + red packaging Coca-cola. When think back, it really does connected.

Although i am not a huge fans of love movies or novels but recently i found out this movie is quite breath-taking. It is listed as my movie to watch this year and if possible, the novel too. Will i have the time to do so? Assignments and test are hunting me to death and i am desperate for more time available for me especially in this end of year. It is the time where everyone suppose to be preparing to enjoy the holiday but it seems this year is going to be different for me.

Perform with MOD and SJBAYS

Last saturday, i get a chance to perform with MOD( Messengers of Dharma ) and SJBAYS (Subang Jaya Buddhist Association Youth Section) during the SJBA 20th anniversary in SJK(c) Chee Wen.

It is yet another great experience where it was my first time singing with them and it happens to be a great and wonderful night. It was truly memorable where i sang as a tenor(the highest ordinary male singing voice).

The songs we sang were 'Its Raining', 'The Story Of Dona' and after encore, 'The Dharma Shines in Me'.

Both of them are twins. They have given me laughter and joy whenever i am down or sad. It's good to have them in my house and i can't imagine the day where they will left us.

Callum-- Always will be the center of attention because of his cuteness and naughty personality. He makes great noise compare to his younger twin sis, Catlin. He will always have good appetite and have great speed on eating, he might have 'copy' my personality...hehe! (Catlum, next time when you grow up don't eat too much, u might be like me!)

CATLIN--Arrived to my home later than Callum. Use to be very quiet but now she has become as noisy as his brother. Can u imagine what impact will be done to my house when two of them start to 'roars'? Catlin have beautiful smiles, i am confident that she will be a beautiful woman one day. For those who wanna date her next time, please queue up first. haha!

Do remember me when both of u grow up and be a good boy and girl!

For the past 3 weeks of holiday, i have been reading the book 'Winning with People' by John C. Maxwell. I would like to share a short story he written in this book. I think it is quite meaningful.

A young woman's car stalled at a stoplight. She tried and tried to get it started, but had no luck whatsoever. The light turns green, and there she sat, angry and embarrassed, holding up traffic. The car behind her could have gone around, but instead the driver added to her frustration by laying on his horn.
After another desperate attempt to get the car started, she got out and walked back to the other car. The man rolled down his window in surprise.
"Tell you what," she said. " You go start my car, and I'll sit back here and honk the horn for you."

The next time we are feeling impatient with someone who is slowing you down, think about this story...

After a long wait, i finally purchase a tuner for my guitar. "Meng Han, if you don't have a tuner with your gred you are holding right now, it is pretty embarrassing." This is what my teacher told me before this.

Now, i finally have one! Not very stylish like ipod or whatever but worth it especially for people who are chasing the dreams to become a good guitarist! hohoho!
